About PID4NFDI
PID4NFDI develops central support infrastructure, tools and resources for managing persistent identifiers within NFDI. Their goal is to foster the standardization of PID usage, strengthen governance structures, and promote interoperability among NFDI consortia. By integrating various PID providers and harmonizing metadata practices, they support research institutions in implementing the FAIR principles. PID4NFDI funding will end at the end of 2026.

What to expect
Join the PID4NFDI team to learn about their developed tools & resources, and how you can (re-)use them in your PID strategy and implementation, metadata workflows, and training sessions.

The session will showcase the highlights and created outputs of the service, and invites an open exchange with the community to discuss questions and future directions for PID solutions in NFDI.
