Base4NFDI User Conference 2026 in Berlin
This year marks the third edition of the Base4NFDI User Conference (UC4B2026). We will meet on November 24–25 at Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, Haus Potsdamer Straße. We hereby cordially invite you to contribute to the conference. Registration for participation will open in August/September 2026; you will be notified in due time.
The
2026 program welcomes contributions from across the NFDI and beyond.
Members of sections, working groups, consortia, Basic Service teams, and
related initiatives are invited to participate and share their ideas
and experiences as well as best practices.
By
contributing, participants can increase the visibility of their work,
exchange insights with stakeholders from across the NFDI, and help
identify opportunities for broader adoption and integration of services.

First, there will be sprint demos of the individual incubator projects. Afterward, the floor will be open for general questions about IAM4NFDI. They are bringing together communities from Research Data Management (RDM) and Integrative Bioinformatics to explore how standardized, high-quality data fosters the next generation of AI-driven research.

Boosting Biodata Bootcamp 2026
The aim of this joint event is to train the biological research community in research data management and data analysis, while providing inspiring insights into how these skills contribute to high-quality scientific research. They invite life scientists — from laboratory-based to field researchers — as well as bioinformaticians, software developers, and local data stewards to share their FAIR tools and high-quality datasets, and to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss with experts.

NFDI4Earth Plenary 2026 NFDI4Earth Plenary 2026 Data Stewardship in Germany 2026
From 28 to 29 September 2026, the fifth DSgG Community Meeting will take place at the University of Cologne under the motto ‘DSgG – from going to growing’. After four successful meetings organised by the TU9 Research Data Working Group, the 2026 meeting will be organised for the first time by the Data Stewardship in Germany Community.
